Pearson Edexcel International qualifications come from the same team that provides the UK regulated versions and therefore ensure comparability to the UK versions and alignment to the UK government intentions to raise standards.
Pearson Edexcel International AS/A Levels (IAL) are globally recognised qualifications which open doors to top universities worldwide. Available for a large number of subjects, they have a modular structure, yet remain comparable to GCE AS/A levels, as confirmed by NARIC, the national agency responsible for providing information and expert opinion on qualifications and skills worldwide.
IAL is part of iProgress, the complete series of Pearson Edexcel academic qualifications for 5 to 19 year-olds, for international schools. Edexcel Assessments only offer the 9–1 grading, and chose not to continue to offer A*-G. The Assessments are a linear over two years programme and offer November and May/June Exam Series.

Under part-time, students can opt to study any one or more of the above subjects while continuing to study in a physical school or as a private candidate.
